McInerney, Carver, Fridlund, Maloney, Beach, Gray, Shattuck, Stuber ... plus some "show your work" thoughts on revisiting an old novel as starting a new novel
kinda crazy, right? when I read the line this morning, I thought, "this slightly precedes my reading, but I can picture the moment," but then googled and it turns out it long precedes my literary reading! per wiki, "It was Chabon's first novel, which he began writing as a 21-year-old undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh." !!
Congrats on the Bluestem pub!
Thanks!
Mysteries of Pittsburgh came out in 88?! Chabon's been at this for longer than I realized.
